This weekend I decided to visit first tourist gorge in Slovenia. The gorge has been arranged for tourists for more than a hundred years. The path through this gorge leads along the wooden bridges, galleries and rushing river Radovna through the picturesque gorge, which measure 1600m and ends with 26-metre waterfall Šum. One can find its way back pass St. Catherine’s church and take a scenic walk across the meadows which offer stunning views on Karavanke mountain range, the Ljubljanska valley, Bled and its surroundings and Mountain Triglav, which is the highest in Slovenia.
Šum waterfall and the green nature with crystal clear water leave an impression on every visitor and great idea for an active day trip.
TD – Have a moment in nature and enjoy reading my blog. New post is coming soon! 🙂
